The Skeptic’s door · The Walk
The Bible makes one promise on page three. I believe its name is Jesus. Eight pages, to the empty tomb.
Eight passages in the 1611 King James, one a morning, that I believe are one story about Jesus — from the serpent’s head, through the giants, to the empty tomb. The page, a work of art, a clip, and a real person who says they met him. Free.

Why these seven pages
I came to disprove the book. I did not expect it to be one story about one man.
As an atheist I thought the Bible was a pile of unrelated myths. Then I noticed page three makes a promise — a seed, a head, a heel — and that every strange thing after it, giants included, stands in the way of that promise until a man dies on purpose and the head is crushed. I believe it is one line; that is my reading, and I will label it as mine all week.
I am not going to ask you to believe anything. Eight pages, in the 1611 itself. Read them and weigh them.
