Crafting Your Most Powerful Story

Why 3 Minutes?

You have roughly three minutes before most people's attention shifts. That's enough time to share your before, your encounter with Christ, and your after — if you've practiced. This guide teaches you to distill your full testimony into a focused, emotionally authentic, gospel-centered story that can be delivered anywhere: at a dinner table, in a parking lot, or on a stage.

The Framework

  • Before (60 seconds) — What was your life like without Christ? Be honest, specific, relatable.
  • During (60 seconds) — How did you encounter Jesus? What happened?
  • After (60 seconds) — How has your life changed? Be specific about transformation.

Practice Makes Powerful

A testimony isn't a speech — it's a story. The guide includes exercises for timing, tone, emotional authenticity without manipulation, and adapting your testimony for different audiences. It also covers transitioning from your personal story to a clear gospel invitation.
